Trail Maintenance

Trail Master - Roles and Responsibilities
The Club currently has two Trail Masters.  Each is responsible for a section of club trails.  It’s the role of the Trail Masters to monitor their trails, identify areas of need in terms of maintenance and repair. The Trail Masters are responsible for making decisions on the safety and accessibility of the trails throughout the year.  IE: they decide if and when a trail is open or closed to riders.  The Trail Masters are also responsible for the signage on their trails.  Meaning they determine the required signage for a given trail.

The Trail Masters are not responsible for maintenance of the trails.  Trail maintenance is the responsibility of the entire club.  Therefore signing trails, clearing trails, repairing trails and cleaning trails are all activities that require assistance from all club members.  Work parties will be established for major trail efforts as needed, however basic maintenance during the riding season should be a task taken upon by all club members as they ride through the trail network.
